About us
Our club is situated in the heart of Hereford, next to Tesco car park and adjacent to All Saint’s Church. Despite being in the centre of the city, the green is a peaceful and tranquil place to play as it is enclosed by a walled garden and is a little hidden treasure.
The club currently does not have its own car park however, visiting teams can park for free at the neighbouring car park as long as there car registration is booked in, with the duty officer, on arrival at the club.
The green is kept in exceptional condition by our own volunteers on a planned maintenance system and can accommodate up to six rinks.
We have tables, chairs and benches dotted around the perimeter of the green, which enables magnificent viewing of any Rink, and makes it a relaxing and enjoyable place to spend a sunny afternoon.
We have a skittle alley, which is situated upstairs and can also double up as a function room for small parties.
We have a well-equipped kitchen that provides buffet meals for visiting teams on match days. Visiting teams would normally eat in our dining room, which can accommodate up to 45 people. Again, this room can be used as a function room for Christenings, Birthday Parties, Weddings, Wakes or any Social gathering.
Our bar, is manned by volunteers and serves a small selection of Lagers, Ciders and Beers, including Real Ales such as Wye Valley which is sourced from a local brewery. The Bar is open Monday & Friday (11:00 – 15:00 hrs), Saturday evening (18:00 – 23:00 hrs), and every other Tuesday (11:00 - 15:00 hrs) and on match days.
Annual membership is as follows:
Adult Full playing member: £85
Novice bowler: £50
Under 18 playing member: Free
(An additional £15 joining fee is payable for playing members)
Social Membership: £15
Student Social Membership: £10 (on production of a valid form of Student ID)
Annual subscriptions are renewable on 1st January of each year
